build a bridge, London

I will spend a more significant amount of time blogging about the two worthwhile conferences I attended in the last day and a half. One was on "The Unfinished Population Agenda" and the other was on "The Challenges of Assistive Technology for an Ageing Population". However I must dish about the fact that I just spent the last hour and a half trying to register for online banking and check the status of my mobile via the Internet. Where are the humans when you need a company's proper services? Unless what they are really selling me is just air time. I cannot get over the number of passwords, and passwords of passwords one needs to induce in order to get a little bit of an update on one's accounts. Sometimes I could swear I am living in industrial London, maybe even pre-industrial.

I promise no griping tomorrow. Well, maybe.
